As a member and brand strategist for Social Squad, I developed the brand strategy for our youth-driven social movement focused on community support and charitable initiatives. The brand strategy centered around the concept of connection and mutual support, visualized through an innovative “S” lettermark that incorporates helping hands and bright energy points. The blue tones represent trust and reliability, while the yellow accents symbolize hope and positive energy. The custom logotype, with its fluid and dynamic style, reflects our movement’s youthful spirit while maintaining professional credibility.
Being part of this community gave me firsthand insight into how our brand identity resonated with our mission, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic where we mobilized support for affected daily workers. The visual identity’s core message of hands helping hands perfectly aligned with our grassroots approach, making it easier to connect with both volunteers and beneficiaries. As both strategist and active member, I witnessed how this thoughtful combination of symbolism and design helped establish Social Squad as a trusted, youth-led movement that bridges the gap between social awareness and direct action in times of community need.
