I developed the brand strategy for AFCIS (Al Furqon Central Islamic Studies), an educational concept envisioned by Satrio Wibisono that combines traditional Islamic boarding school principles with Salaf teachings. In close collaboration with my friend’s vision, I created the strategic foundation and creative brief for the brand’s visual identity. The brand strategy outlined the core values, positioning, and key messages that would resonate with those seeking authentic Islamic education.
Working with graphic designer Al Firous, we translated these strategic elements into a tangible visual identity. Al Firous executed the logo design and developed comprehensive brand guidelines including typography selections, color palettes, and visual elements. This collaborative approach ensured that the final brand identity system perfectly aligned with the institution’s vision while maintaining professional standards for consistent brand implementation.
