Build the freight-forwarding operations app: quotations, jobs, invoicing, and document generation.
The AKG Logistics web app is an operations system I built for PT AKG Logistics Indonesia, covering their freight-forwarding work from quotation all the way through to payment.
Background
PT AKG Logistics Indonesia needed to run their freight-forwarding operations in one place instead of scattered spreadsheets and documents. That means quoting jobs, tracking the cost and revenue of each shipment, invoicing, and recording proof of delivery, all with a clear paper trail.
The Challenge
- Cover the full quote-to-cash cycle in one system
- Keep a clear history when quotations and invoices get revised
- Track cost and revenue per shipment so each job’s margin is visible
- Generate the operational documents automatically
Solution
I built it in Laravel with a Filament admin. Quotations and invoices are versioned so every revision is kept, jobs track per-shipment cost and revenue, and the documents are generated as PDFs. Customers, vendors, services, and charge types are all configurable.
