Build a custom WordPress theme and two lead-capture plugins.

In 2024 I rebuilt the corporate website of PT AKG Logistics Indonesia on WordPress, with a custom theme and two custom plugins that turn visits into quote requests, profile downloads, and WhatsApp enquiries.

Background

PT AKG Logistics Indonesia’s digital presence needed to evolve alongside their expanding business operations. Their existing website, while functional, didn’t fully reflect their market position and professional capabilities in the logistics sector.

The Challenge

  • Replace an outdated site with one that presents each freight service clearly
  • Turn visits into quote requests, company-profile downloads, and enquiries
  • Keep every enquiry on record for the team, not only in an inbox
  • Let staff update pages and news without a developer

Solution

I built a custom theme, AKG Logindo, with Tailwind CSS and Alpine.js, and two plugins. Custom CTA Manager runs the quotation, company-profile download, and contact forms: each submission is saved, sent as an HTML email notification, and followed by its own thank-you page, and the team can review every request in WordPress. Floating Buttons adds a back-to-top button and a WhatsApp button whose short form records the enquiry before opening the chat.

  • Thank-you page redirects for each form, set from the plugin settings
  • A WhatsApp button that records each enquiry before opening the chat
  • A news section and a link to the member area, the AKG operations app
