AKG Logistics Web App

AKG Logistics Web App

Tasks & responsibilities

Build the freight-forwarding operations app: quotations, jobs, invoicing, and document generation.

The AKG Logistics web app is an operations system I built for PT AKG Logistics Indonesia, covering their freight-forwarding work from quotation all the way through to payment.

Background

PT AKG Logistics Indonesia needed to bring its freight-forwarding operations into one system. That means quoting jobs, tracking the cost and revenue of each shipment, invoicing, and recording proof of delivery, all with a clear paper trail.

The Challenge

  • Cover the full quote-to-cash cycle in one system
  • Keep a clear history when quotations and invoices get revised
  • Track cost and revenue per shipment so each job’s margin is visible
  • Generate the operational documents automatically

Solution

I built it in Laravel with a Filament admin. Quotations, jobs, and invoices keep a change history: who changed which field, from what to what, and when. Quotations can be reopened for revision with a reason. Each job tracks its costs and revenue and shows net profit after overhead, and the shipping documents are generated as PDFs.

Technical Implementation

Results

400+ jobs through the app

about 45 a month since January 2026, with 340+ invoices issued

Jobs created per month

Jobs created in the app each month, January to September 2026, with September to date. As of 27 September 2026.

Before the app, AKG created its quotations, invoices, bills of lading, and delivery documents by hand. These documents are now generated inside the system, and the app has been in daily use since December 2025.

  • The full quote-to-cash cycle handled in one system
  • Changes to quotations, jobs, and invoices record who made them and when
  • Net profit visible on every shipment
